Richard Ramberg is a Swedish entrepreneur, lawyer, and insurance technology specialist, and co-founder of InsurAGI. He is a frequent writer on insurance-related matters, with a focus on helping consumers understand, optimize, and take control of their insurance coverage through data-driven insights and AI.
After graduating in 2010 with two Master’s degrees—a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Uppsala University and a Master’s in Comparative Legal Studies from Pace University School of Law in New York—Richard began his legal career at a Tier 1 law firm in Stockholm, specializing in Capital Markets and M&A. He later became a member of the Swedish Bar Association and worked at the Scandinavian private equity firm Nordic Capital between 2014 and 2015.
In 2017, Richard passed SwedSec’s licensing exam for investment advisors, covering, inter alia, insurance and insurance-related financial products. His professional background combines legal expertise, financial analysis, and a practical understanding of how complex policy structures affect real-world insurance outcomes. He has reviewed and analyzed a large number of insurance policies across major Swedish insurers.
Through InsurAGI, Richard is developing tools designed to identify coverage gaps, eliminate duplicate insurance, and provide users with clear, actionable insights into their protection.
Outside of his professional work, Richard is an avid mountain climber and holds the Swedish speed record for climbing Mount Everest, which he summited on 13 May 2022.
